Fitness Cookies

I got an order for "gym themed" cookies, for a new gym opening in our area - to be set out at the grand opening. They were almond sugar cookie, and chocolate chip - and they turned out really cute!

This is the logo of the new gym, Core Fitness

They do kick boxing, taebo and other similar things there, and are big supporters of breast cancer, so pink Core Fitness boxing gloves were in order:-)

Can't have a gym without a little heavy lifting, now can you?

These are almond sugar cookies - a small nativity scene, and a shiny gold star make for a simple, and beautiful Christmas cookie

The gold stars are very shiny, which is hard to photograph. Each cookie is painted with edible lustre dust, and so they are sparkly, and reflective.

The gold star over the manger is also painted with lustre dust.

50's Theme

A 50's/Mary Engelbreit themed Sweet 16

The cake is red velvet, and three 12" layers. Checkerboard border, and Mary Engelbreit styled roses in yellow and red.+

A fall themed 30th birthday party

Baby Shower for Finn

A whale themed baby shower. I was given the colour scheme, and some ideas via pinterest. I hand cut out the whale cookie shape.

They requested a cake, and it was two layers 12" round - vanilla cake with creamy milk chocolate buttercream. I used a poured fondant to cover it, and made a cute little whale and "water spout" for the topper.
